BlocStac: the Common Brain for Smart Companies

Before we open the gate next week for public beta customers, just a short notice how easy signing up has become. We streamlined the process to:

1. Name your account, e.g. https://bestcorp.blochub.com

2. Click on e.g. Google, e finito!

There is no lengthy form, credit card data or password creation, just two steps. There is an exception due to technical limitation of Facebook. If you choose Facebook and provide a valid email address, all works fine. However, if you choose Facebook's proxymail, Facebook scrambles mails. So we don't accept Facebook's proxymail.

Have you ever thrown away something and regret it just the day after? I certainly have. But BlocStac expects you to be like that. You learn in the demo below that any deleted Bloc is not immediately gone forever. Only after 7 days, a deleted Bloc gets definitely destroyed.

This allows you work in a very efficient way: First, you don't have to be afraid of loosing any information by mistake. Second, your colleagues see the deleted Bloc and may restore it again when still needed.

So, happily delete Blocs and restore the ones you shouldn't have,

Besides Google and Yahoo, there is now a third option to log into BlocStac: New users can use their Facebook account. The only difference to Google and Yahoo is that instead of a new page, you are presented a window as shown below.

 

 

Some questions that may arise:

Can I switch from e.g. Google to Facebook?

This is not possible. If you are interessted in changing from e.g. Google to Facebook, leave a comment (coming very soon...).

Can I add a second provider so I can login with Google AND Facebook?

Nope, but we are considering for the future.
